Anu is the Policy and Governance Lead for Acclimatise South Asia
Anu is based in Acclimatise’s New Delhi office, and as part of a growing team, coordinates adaptation and risk resilience projects in India, South Asia and South East Asia. Her work is centred around the multi-level governance of climate change, specifically sub-national planning in India, and national climate planning in the region. Anu has over eight years’ experience as a climate policy researcher and practitioner, focussed on the institutions and governance of climate change, as well as how climate change is communicated. Prior to joining Acclimatise, Anu worked with a think-tank, leading an independent study on State Action Plans on Climate Change in India. She was a business and environmental journalist between 2001 and 2009.
Anu is a Chevening scholar and holds an MSc. in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford.
