Meet Acclimatise at GreenCorp 2007
Acclimatise joins the high profile panel of speakers which includes key companies such as BT, FT, Marks & Spencer, Rio Tinto, Honda, Insight Invest, Vodafone and Boots. This year’s event aims to provide a unique forum for leading European business leaders to meet, exchange ideas and strategies, and discuss new methods to tackle the critical climate changes issues every corporation needs to address.
Although many businesses are looking at becoming carbon-neutral, it is clear that few have yet to recognise the new and unfamiliar threats arising from a changing climate and the profound knock-on consequences of these changes for return on capital, shareholder value and growth. Fewer still have begun to assess the risks and opportunities and to develop risk management processes and actions to meet the challenges. The impacts of a changing climate will be felt by every business irrespective of their size, location, markets, products and services.
For this reason Acclimatise has been asked to run an interactive one day workshop helping each attendee to assess and manage the threats, opportunities and costs of climate variability and climate change.
