Expert Opinion

Our first article in this section is by Adam Riedel, Associate Director at Columbia Law School's Center for Climate Change Law. His article, "Companies Should Recalibrate Climate Change SEC Disclosure Away from Regulatory Risks and Towards Adaptation Risks", argues that climate change-related disclosure by many filers focusses on regulatory risks rather than adaptation, despite the dimished chance of regualtory action on climate change in the near future and increasingly serious physical risks.
